Vrbo

Vrbo had an ad-hoc approach to digital demand capture that felt disconnected from its upper-funnel storytelling. So my partner and I pitched a new concept to elevate the work stream and build consistency in how the brand shows up across channels.

  • We worked with director Esteban to create brief windows into different vacation moments, capturing a variety of homes, travelers, and features, all with the same underlying message: a Vrbo is a rental that helps you relax.

  • Description text goes Part of what made this project complex was the breadth of formats the footage would live in. By developing a flexible design template and being intentional in how we shot each scene, we created a library of assets that could be repurposed for new ratios and messages.here

  • Vignettes quickly joined the ranks of Vrbo's best-performing work, with 4 of the top 5 videos on connected TV and one of the highest cross-channel conversion rates of any campaign. The success of this campaign has also resulted in it being adapted for broadcast TV.
